LG continues strengthening its market base in the IT segment by introducing its latest 3D Cinema Monitor in India. This has been declared as the world’s slimmest LED monitor and IPS monitor. With the continuous insertion of innovative concepts based on state-of-the-art technologies in order to provide integrated and cost-efficient services to its target audience, LG has become the leader in the market with the increase of its market share.
According to the spokesperson of LG, “LG always strives to provide the best to its consumers and we are positive that this new innovation from the house of LG will enhance the leadership in monitor category.” He also said, “The launch of new range of monitor series has set a benchmark and we expect good response within next quarter. With the launch of 3D monitor and world’s slimmest LG is all set to provide more fun and entertainment for its consumers than ever before. Presently we have 33.7% (Standalone Monitor market share and we target to achieve 42% by the end of 2011.”
The newly launched LG 3D Cinema Monitor is based on FPR (film-type patterned retarder) technology recently founded by LG Display. FPR technology has been awarded as the best 3D technology at a display event held in Beijing in 2010. The range of this product provides vivid and brighter with superior clarity. This is an attempt to combat with those brands, which are quite popular for using conventional SG technology since quite a long time.
