Q: Which are the 3D TV offering brands doing good in the Indian market?

A: The year 2010 witnessed the entry of three 3D TV brands in India – Samsung, Sony and Panasonic. The response that Samsung expected with its entry, including Sony and Panasonic, was never met in the time period of 1 year. Same poor performance they have shown in other countries. This is due to application of active shutter glass. According to the doctors and researchers, due to the usage of active shutter glasses, many people are suffering from health problems such as eye strain and fatigue, nausea, whereas technical problems like image flickering, retention, overlapping (technically known as crosstalk), lower brightness, etc. These are the main causes of obstruction in the 3D TV retailing business of Samsung, Sony and Panasonic.

  1. why the second one question is just telling active shutter glasses are not good. there is only one question raise in mind that someone brand of 3D TV wants to promote a anything whatever it has launched recently. It is a human nature that to prop up something people can take any step. Although, active shutter glasses do not have health problem, image flickering, retention, overlapping etc.

  2. Hi,

As I understand you are saying that this post if for promotions.Actually,it is not.It is only for letting fellow 'active' netizens like me to keep abreast of latest 3D technologies which are vieing hard for the entry to our living rooms. And it is humane to compare technologies as we invest our hard-earned money.

Whatever is shared on the posts is derived on the reports and researches. And why 3D TV is so instrumental in indian society as it is urging the necessity of taking care of our health which has been shy away in previous technologies. And if something which is going to be a part of our 3D taste and life,I guess health factors should be part of it.

    Thanks..
